An Easter visit to Minter Gardens...

This last Saturday was my first visit to Minter Gardens since our wedding in August 2005. The gardens hold very special memories for me, as you can imagine :) Unfortunately Jon had to work that afternoon and couldn't join my family and I, but he was a big part of the nostalgia... :) It was an absolutely glorious afternoon to be "smelling the roses". Well, there weren't actually roses (its still a bit early for those) but there were lots of tulips! And it was another 20+ day! Here are some pictures from our afternoon...

And after viewing all those wonderful flowers, I came home to a little Easter surprise from Jon...

I wish Jon could have been with you as well. Maybe sometime soon though? Maybe Aaron and I can take a trip out to the place where we were married when we visit Kelowna. I hope so. Wow, those flowers are beautiful. The ones in the garden and the ones at home.

Way to go Jon...! Seriously... I remember not too long ago (at a certain BSC par-tay) reminding you that women ALWAYS love flowers... woo woo woo - the three most important words (in my opinion) a boy should know. WOO. Don't ever stop. Just a few thoughts! Tim brought me some flowers today too Bonnie - I got some tulips... fun hey!? Anyhoo... hope you two are doin swell; I'm jealous of the weather... it snowed here today though; almost the same? Uhhh... yeah. Much love!

So pretty!!! I would say that I'm jealous...okay, maybe I still am...but I'm smiling even bigger than usual today because as of this afternoon, we've hit a high of 16 degrees in S'toon!!! WOWWWWW! I'm hoping for a very warm weekend. It'll be wonderful to get rid of all the winter dirt and guck and bring in some green!

I also gotta tell ya, you're super cute. I always think that. You remind me of the actress Natalie Portman a little bit - that's a good thing. I've always thought she was adorable.

Have a great weekend Bonnie! Enjoy the sunshine.

my favorite picture is of you getting your arm severed by the pruning man. ouch...that must have hurt. not to worry though. I can fully assess your forearm and treat you.
remember how i said i was tired? well, that was nothing compared to studying all day today on less than 4 hours of sleep thanks to a burst water pipe in the bathroom that woke me up last night. Of course i was the only one there to deal with it...
fun Fun FUn FUN :)
i am so going to bed now. and turing off the main water. no more broken seals please...
