Not much to report...

The title pretty much sums it up. I haven't posted in a while for two main reasons. 1) I haven't had the time. Life has been "non-stop" lately, resulting in very little time on the computer, and 2) Nothing exciting to post about. Though things have been busy, I quite sadly, have very little to share with you.
Jon did have his first basketball tournament last weekend though and I got a few pictures from their final game (you'll have to excuse how blurry they are... I was too far away and all the movement didn't help either). They played well and ended up 3rd out of 8 teams, which isn't bad considering it was their first tournament of the season. Jon is absolutely loving his coaching position and its been really neat to see him "in his element." Coaching is definitely a passion of his and I'm so proud of the great example he is to his players. It will be cool to see the team develop over the next few months.

Erich & Naomi brought the kids to the final game. They were surprisingly content to watch and seemed very proud of their Uncle Jon. I think Konrad was a little disappointed though to find that Uncle Jon was coaching instead of playing :)
Team time-out...
I figured I would add this video of the kids at half time. Konrad was in his own little world out there and as Naomi said, "as far as he's concerned, he's playing basketball..." :) It was pretty cute to watch him run around with his "game face" on. But one thing is for sure... its all fun and games until somebody gets hurt :) ...

It's always awesome to see people in their element. Like when someone comes to see me at work and I'm all "debits and credits... and reconcile this management report...." Just kidding. Seeing someone do something they love while really pouring into other people's lives is awesome. Is John like Coach Taylor on Friday night lights? He's my favorite TV coach of all time. Well, at least the only one I can remember right now. Once he said that his wife was always right. Since then I knew that he was a dude with his head on straight. :)

All this rambling to say, I'm glad the tournament went well. That's great.

We had such a great time at the game, I'm such a proud big sister. I'm really excited about what Jon has done in his life, he has grown up to be a man I am so proud to call my brother. We really love spending time with you guys and look forward to the next game!
