The newest member of our family...

We said good-bye to the Volvo a couple of weeks ago.  It was a great car and we made a lot of great memories with it, but it was time to let it go.  Time to invest in something that wasn't going to require $3,000+ in repairs in the next few months (honestly... we did the calculations and the Volvo was probably going to need $3,000-4,000 worth of repairs, and knowing our luck, it probably would have all happened at once).

We got a 2008 Toyota Yaris and absolutely love it so far!  And I am LOVING the gas mileage I'm getting with it.  Just to give you an idea, I only got about 25-27 mpg on the highway with the Volvo and the Yaris is already getting about 50-53 mpg.  Let's just say that I will now be seeing the benefits of that raise I got at work a few months ago.  It will finally be going back into my bank account rather than into my gas tank :)
