Today was just one of those days. One in which I would have given almost anything to go back to a place I once called "home." Even if just for a moment. Just enough time to take it all in and remember what used to be. Those were good days...
Hey Bonnie: I got your sketches today and they are awesome!!! Thanks so much for doing that for me! I now have something to work with! Thanks so much for all your help, I will post pics once I finally get things all figured out and done...
Hi hear you Bonnie. I've been feeling like that a lot lately. I wonder if your heart ever really recovers from the loss of this dear place. Sometimes I imagine how my heart will leap with joy when we return.... whether for a visit or to live I don't know.
But I know that we will someday get to return to this "home." It's funny that you call it that. In so many ways it was more home to me than any other place has ever been.
Maybe it's because my heart felt free there. Free to love and be loved.
Beautiful pictures, Bonnie! Mountains, waterfalls, ocean shores and grain fields...all in the same place? I would have thought it was somewhere in beautiful B.C...but then I saw palm trees. So where is it?
Hi Judy! Its actually New Zealand (specifically the South Island)! That's one thing I loved SO much about NZ... its diverse landscape. One minute you'd be driving through lush green forrests, next you'd see glaciers and then you'd hit white sandy beaches. Its just gorgeous over there!
