We spent the afternoon "harvesting" pumpkins at Mom & Dad E.'s farm...
Jon found Ava her very own "baby pumpkin"... ... she was so proud to have her own little pumpkin... Mmmm... nothing like a raw squash covered in dirt... :) ...And then there was Ava's story about the pumpkin patch :) Listen and enjoy!

Bonnie! This looks like SO much fun. What a wonderful, autumny thing to do! Maybe someday Aaron and I will live in a place where we can take advantage of such a joy! Pumpkin harvesting looks like the best family activity ever!
I can't believe she's walking already!! Last time I was there I don't think she was even crawling. I'm so excited to see those 2 cuties in a month or so when I come out there! Thanks for helping me stay up to date, since Naomi's not quite so regular with her blog updates (I love you just the same, Nome!)
sweet pics, Bonnie. I have an interior decorating question/problem for you...What should I do for window coverings in my place??? I was thinking of going with dark wood faux venitiens on the two narrow dining room window and kitchen and bathroom on the main floor since we have the dark laminate but didn't know what that would look like upstairs since there is no dark wood up there. I could do the white faux wood everywhere but that seems too boring to me and I'm just not crazy about it. The other thought i had was to go with the faux wood veneitans the color of our kitchen cabinets for the main floor and then maybe just white upstairs in the boys'& baby and our bathroom?? or would you do them all the same? For the living room and our master bedroom I was wanting to do some drapes/panels. I was thinking of doing some chocolate and lime green ones somehow but finding lime green anythying is proving to be difficult. I thought of sewing my own but I don't know where to start with that either!! The main floor living room has just one large window that is around 93-94" across and the master upstairs has a main window and then two 22" side windows on either side. So up there I thought of doing the dark brown on the main window and some sort of lime green on the two side windows, but I didn't know if that would look right? Downstairs living room I thought would look too much dark brown if I did that? I don't know what to do but I do know I want some privacy...soon!!! Anyway, I posted pictures a ways back so that should hopefully help you, if you need more pics let me know and I will send/post some more. Any help you could give me would be great!!
Hey Bonnie: Thanks for all the advice, I really appreciate it!! I would agree with everything you have to say I think. Except I was going to do draperies in the master instead of the wood blinds but I think either would work. One thing I am wondering about is what to do in the stairwell. We have a fairly large window there and I would probably just do venetians there as well but I'm not sure if I should do them in the dark or the white since they are between both?? Thoughts?? i am sending you my email address and my mailing address. I would LOVE to see some sketches as soon as you can do them! If you have a scanner I thought you could email instead of mail them and Grant has a fax number at work but I need to check with him if it is alright to fax to there...so check your email and we'll be in touch!! Also, thanks soooooo much for all your help, I only wish you lived closer!!!

That looks like the perfect Thanksgiving activity. How fun. By the way, I love, love, your new hairdo. Isn't Andrianne a miracle worker?
