Sunday night we had a surprise birthday for Grandpa Esau. His birthday was actually on November 11 but Grandpa & Grandma were in Palm Springs on his birthday, so we celebrated a bit late. Naomi and Erich had us all over for a wonderful supper (thanks again Nome...it was
delicious as usual!) and then when everyone had moved to the living room to relax, we surprised him with a cake and a rousing chorus of "Happy Birthday." He hadn't suspected a thing!
It was so great to be able to celebrate them! They mean the
world to us and I just pray that we have lots and lots more years with them!
